This is believed to be a photo of St Martin's church, which stood on the corner of Morland Road and Stretton Road until demolition in 1994. The church was apparently also known as the Addiscombe College Memorial Church though the college closed about forty years before the church opened so it isn't entirely clear why.

St Martin's Hall in Dartnell Road, now occupied by the Holy Sabbath Of Christ The Great Mission, was presumably the church hall.
